CROSS COUNTRY: Ran in six races for the Wave. Improved in each 8K that he ran, finishing with a personal-best 28:27.00 at the Conference USA Championships (11/1).

PREP
Lettered in track and cross country at McGill-Toolen. Led the Yellow Jackets to the county cross country championship and third in the state as a junior. Helped his team to the sectional championship in track as a junior and senior.

Full name is Joseph Brett Guy. Born September 1, 1983 in Mobile, Ala. The son of Joseph and Deborah Guy. Younger brother Matthew is a member of the LSU track team.
