2007: Appeared in four games as a sophomore, posting a 7.71 ERA and four strikeouts in 4.2 innings of work...longest outing of the year came in his first outing when he allowed one run on two hits in 2.0 innings against Wright State (3/3)...fanned a pair while allowing one hit in a scoreless inning against Loyola Marymount (3/10)...allowed a pair of runs on a hit in two-thirds of an inning at UNO (3/20) and allowed one run on a triple in an inning at Rice (5/11)...off the diamond, was a member of the Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll and Tulane's 3.0 Club.

2006: Appeared in 13 games as a redshirt-freshman, including a start against Nicholls State (3/14)...ranked third among relievers with 19.2 innings out of the bullpen...posted a 2.67 strikeout-to-walk ratio with 16 punchouts and just six walks...longest outing of the year came in the start against Nicholls State (4.0) and longest relief effort was a 3.2 inning performance at East Carolina (4/29)...did not allow a hit in four appearances and held opponents without an earned run on seven occasions...posted multiple-strikeout totals four times...off the diamond, was a member of Tulane's 3.0 Club.

2005: Received a medical redshirt after undergoing Tommy John surgery prior to the start of the season.

High School: Three-year letterman at St. Paul's for coach Mick Nunez...earned first-team All-District 5-5A honors as a sophomore and senior, and claimed all-parish, all-metro, St. Tammany Player of the Year and district MVP honors as a senior...posted 13-10 record with seven shutouts and 215 strikeouts during his prep career, including a 15-strikeout no-hit performance against Ponchatoula...as a senior, struck out 107 batters...off the diamond, was a member of the National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta and Habitat For Humanity, and was named a National Merit finalist.
