2005: Played in one game, recording a tackle against Houston (10/8).

2004: Made his collegiate debut against Houston (10/30). Registered his first career tackles with a pair of assisted takedowns against Louisville (12/4). Also played against Navy (11/6), recording a quarterback hurry.

2003: Did not see any game action.

2002: Redshirted the season.

HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in football, track and wrestling for four years, earning all-district honors in wrestling. Helped Woodlawn's football team to the state playoffs all four years while leading the track team to district and regional championships. Also played basketball for one year, helping his team to the state championship.

PERSONAL: Full name is Taylor King Bertin. Born May 8, 1983 in Baton Rouge. The son of Frankie Joy King and Philip Bertin. The youngest of five children. Majoring in marketing with a political science minor.
