HIGH SCHOOL: First team all-city selection as a senior... named the best all-around lineman on his high school team... collected 87 tackles with 10 quarterback sacks as a senior... totalled 68 tackles with 13 sacks his junior year... did not start playing football until his sophomore season... after helping his Grady High team to an 8-4 record as a junior, the squad went 13-1 in 2005 and advanced to the state semifinals... first team in Grady history to go undefeated during the regular season... earned letters in basketball and track and field in addition to football... named best rebounder and top defensive player on the hoops team... was a member of his school's honor roll.
