TULANE: A returning letterwinner... made the move from defensive back to linebacker during the spring season.

2006: Played in all 12 games and notched eight tackles (six solo)... in the Tulsa game, returned three kickoffs for 45 yards with a long of 17 yards.

HIGH SCHOOL: First team all-region player as a safety and named to the second team all-region squad as a wide receiver... named to the 2005 all-state team at receiver and was an honorable mention choice at quarterback... earned first team all-county and all-area honors... was an all-region choice on both offense and defense as a junior... served as team captain in 2005 and was named team MVP... three-year starter for the Class 5A school... as a senior, was credited with 35 tackles, six interceptions and 10 pass break-ups... returned three of his INTs for scores... on offense, made 30 catches for 650 yards (21.7 avg.) with 12 receiving TDs... totalled 1,500 all-purpose yards as a junior after compiling 900 all-purpose yards his sophomore season... added 40 tackles with eight pass break-ups as a sophomore...
