2002: Started seven games at receiver for the Green Wave, catching 14 passes for 184 yards. Averaged 13.1 yards per catch. Caught an 18-yard touchdown pass versus Southern (8/31) for the Wave's first TD of the season. Made catches in seven of 13 games. Grabbed three passes for a season-high 57 yards and the TD versus Southern. Also snared three passes at East Carolina (9/14). Had two catches each in the Houston (9/7), UL-Monroe (10/5) and TCU (11/9) contests. 2001: Played in 10 games, tallying 18 catches for 169 yards. Posted four three-reception contests, including the Southern game (9/29) when he caught three balls for a career-best 35 yards. Snagged a season-long 22-yarder against Louisville (11/3). Had three catches for 21 yards against Cincinnati (10/6) and had a 15-yard gain on an end-around rush. 2000: Saw action in five games as a redshirt freshman. Snagged his first career reception with a 36-yard grab against SMU (9/23). 1999: Redshirted the season. HIGH SCHOOL: A 1999 graduate of St. Monica Catholic in Santa Monica, Calif. A three-year starter at both wide receiver and defensive back. Ranks second all-time in the state of California with 230 career receptions. Earned district MVP honors after catching 98 passes for 1,560 yards and 18 touchdowns as a senior. Nominated for California-Texas Shrine Game. Also an all-conference shortstop in baseball. Majoring in marketing with a minor in informational systems for decision support. Selected to the Conference USA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll for 1999-2000. Has known quarterback J.P.
