HIGH SCHOOL: A three-year starter who played primarily at tight end and deep snapper... played for Florida in the 2004 California Bowl All-Star Game... recognized as the top long snapper in Florida and was named to the Orlando Sentinel Super Six list at tight end... member of the Sentinel's Florida Top 100 list... an honorable mention All-Big Bend selection by the Tallahassee Democrat in 2003 after earning first team recognition as a junior... led his high school team to the state championship his sophomore season... registered just one bad snap his entire high school career... ranked in the top 10 percent of his high school class... was a member of the National Society of High School Scholars and qualified for his school's Honor Roll.
