First team All-State running back in 2005. All-Metro choice as a senior who also was named MVP of the All-East Jefferson Parish team. Selected as the Offensive MVP of District 10-1A as well as an All-District 10-1A running back. As a junior in 2004, made the first team all-district squad at defensive back and was a second team choice on offense. Also returned kicks. A second team all-district selection at defensive back in 2003. Carried the ball 28 times for 741 rushing yards to average 26.4 yards per rush with nine scores his senior season despite playing just five games (season shortened by Hurricane Katrina). Also caught 23 passes for 449 yards and three TDs and an average of 19.5 yards per catch. Defensively, made 37 tackles with a pair of interceptions, four fumbles forced and two recovered. As a junior, totaled 86 tackles, picked off four passes, forced three fumbles and recovered two. On offense, rushed for 873 yards with eight scores and collected 412 yards receiving with three TDs. Team advanced to the state quarterfinals in 2005 after winning the district title, and went to the playoffs in both 2003 and 2004. Three-year letterwinner in basketball and runs the 100 meters, 200 meters and 4 x 100 for the track team. Listed on the A-B Honor Roll.
