TULANE: A two-year letterwinner who has played in 22 career games with five starts... career defensive numbers include 43 stops (24 solo), three takedowns for lost yardage, one forced fumble, one quarterback hurry and three pass breakups... worked his way into the starter at right cornerback during the spring.

2006: Started four of 11 games and registered 35 tackles (21 solo), 2.5 stops for lost yardage, one forced fumble and quarterback hurry and three pass breakups... produced seven tackles and a PBU at No. 10 LSU and came away with six tackles and forced a fumble against Southern Miss... notched five stops at No. 8 Auburn... was credited with four tackles against both SMU and UTEP.

2005: Played in all 11 games, including a start at nickleback against Houston (10/8)... registered eight tackles for the year, including a season-high three takedowns and a half-tackle for loss against Southeastern Louisiana (10/1)... also had two tackles against SMU (9/24) and Southern Miss (11/26)... registered one punt return against UTEP (10/14).

HIGH SCHOOL: Was a four-year letterwinner and three-year starter at quarterback and safety at West St. John High School... earned first-team all-state, all-River Parish and All-Metro honors as a junior and senior, and claimed All-District 9-2A honors his final three prep seasons... tallied 17 interceptions as a defensive back during his career, including seven picks in each of his final two prep seasons... as a senior, threw for 1,615 yards on 98-of-167 passing and 16 touchdowns while running for 450 yards and six scores on 70 carries... also posted 50 tackles - including 36 solo stops - with seven interceptions and a touchdown... as a junior, scored two touchdowns on punt returns, two on interception returns- including a 98-yarder - and one on a kickoff return... as a sophomore, snared three interceptions and returned one for a touchdown... helped lead the Rams to district championships all four years and the team won the state title during his senior campaign... named MVP of the Class 2A State Championship game after passing for 206 yards and three touchdowns in a 41-21 win over Sterlington... also played basketball for the Rams where he twice earned All-District 9-2A honors.
