TULANE: A returning letterwinner... was moved from the defensive line to the offensive line during the spring and is listed as the No. 2 left guard entering fall drills.

2006: Played in 10 games on the defensive line and produced three tackles and one quarterback hurry... was credited with a quarterback hurry at No. 8 Auburn... did not see action against Army and UCF.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played A Class 4A All-State selection as a senior... a three-time all-district honoree, who also claimed all-Metro honors as a senior... posted 249 tackles, 23 sacks and seven forced fumbles during his career... as a senior, had 96 tackles, 12 sacks and three forced fumbles... made 60 tackles with five sacks as a junior, 63 tackles, three sacks and four forced fumbles as a sophomore, and 30 tackles and three sacks as a freshman... a four-year letterwinner who helped the Patriots win back-to-back state championships as a junior and senior... off the field, earned the Bishop Brown Scholarship and Hispanic Heritage Foundation Scholarship, and was a member of the A/B Honor Roll.
