High School: Three-year letterman at Catholic High where he saw action at quarterback and wide receiver for head coach Dale Weiner...helped lead the Bears to a combined 38-4 record, three state district titles and a trio of trips to the playoffs - including semifinal berths as a sophomore and junior...played primarily wide receiver as a senior when he hauled in 11 passes for 144 yards and two touchdowns...also earned varsity letters in baseball where he was an all-state pitcher and catcher last season after going 9-2 from the mound in addition to handling catching duties...off the field, received honorable-mention academic all-state honors...off the field, is a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes...chose Tulane over Louisiana Tech, Northwestern State and McNeese State.
