TULANE: Begins his first playing season... worked his way into the No. 2 flanker during the spring. 2006: Did not play; received a red-shirt season. HIGH SCHOOL: Two-way player who earned all-state honors as a return specialist... earned all-state, all-Metro, all-district, Pelican Preps Player of the Week and WAFB High School Player of the Week as a senior... rushed for 217 yards and three scores, hauled in 40 passes for 623 yards and five touchdowns, posted 289 yards and a score on punt returns, 736 yards and two touchdowns on kickoff returns, picked off four passes and forced two fumbles in 2005... totalled more than 2,100 all-purpose yards as a senior... for his career, tallied 3,843 all-purpose yards: 217 rushing (3 TDs), 1,755 receiving (20 TDs), 711 punt return (3 TDs), 1,058 kickoff return (3 TD), and 102 on interception returns... helped the Comets finish second in the state in 2005, and also claimed the District 10-3A title in 2004 and share the district title in 2003... also lettered in baseball where he earned all-state, all-metro, all-elite, all-river parish, and distict MVP honors after hitting .506 with 25 runs and 21 RBI in his final season and in basketball where he earned all-district honors and was named team defensive MVP... off the field, was an Academic All-State selection, a four-year member of the Alpha Honor Roll and named Mr. St. Charles Catholic.
