TULANE: A returning letterwinner who has played in 19 career games with one start... career defensive numbers include 22 tackles (11 solo), two takedowns for lost yardage, one sack, one hurry, one pass breakup and one blocked field goal... the No. 2 left defensive tackle entering fall camp.

2006: Played in all 12 games and earned his first career start at UTEP... produced three tackles and one stop for lost yardage at Houston in the season opener... finished with two tackles each against UTEP, Marshall, UCF and Tulsa... was credited with a blocked field goal vs. Southern Miss. ... 2005: Played in the final five games of the season, recording four tackles (two solo)... added a pair of stops against Rice (11/12).

2004: Played in two games before suffering an injury and received a medical redshirt... tallied three tackles, one solo, and his first career sack as well as a quarterback pressure against Florida A&M (9/11).

HIGH SCHOOL: Two-way starter in high school who was a first team all-district choice at both tight end and defensive end in 2003... also a first team all-parish selection on both sides of the ball... served as team captain... selected to Louisiana Football Magazine's "Best of the Rest" list at defensive end in 2003... compiled 143 career tackles with 33 TFLs, 24 hurries, 10 sacks, four fumbles forced and three recovered... set a school record for tackles by a defensive lineman with 87 during his senior year... recorded 21 tackles for loss, seven sacks and 15 hurries while forcing four fumbles and recovering two... as a junior, he was credited with 56 tackles, 12 TFL, nine hurries, three sacks and an interception while leading his team to its first 5A playoff berth.
