Hello Sarah! It's me again. I've been away all day at practice and I'm sorry I didn't get back to you until now. I feel like a bad husband who works late and neglects his family. I guess that's strange because you've only been in my life for three days, but as Smokey Robinson & The Miracles says in their song, "You've really got a hold on me!"

I know you probably want to know how my day went, practice specifically, but with the little free time I have, I try not to think about it too much. I like to use this time to free my mind from football, and perhaps read this very interesting novel I bought (yes, football players read, too!). I think that an escape is a good thing to have in order to get my mind off football, lest I get to the point where it becomes too much and I won't enjoy it anymore.

I will mention, however, that tomorrow we don't have weight lifting, which is a relief. It will give our legs some time to catch up, which reminds me of that bad joke from Pulp Fiction about the Papa Tomato, Momma Tomato and the Baby Tomato. That, in turn, reminds me of Hairspray because John Travolta was in that too. And now, I kind of want to watch Grease!
