As a Sophomore (2006-07)
Appeared in 30 of Tulane's 33 games... Turned in a season-high 10 points in Tulane's WNIT First Round win over Jackson State at Fogelman Arena on March 14 on a perfect five-for-five shooting performance while adding four rebounds and a blocked shot... Scored six points with six rebounds in the Green Wave's win over Fordham in the Tulane DoubleTree Classic on December 29... Her eight points against UCF were then a season-best and came on three-of-five from the field including two-for-two from three-point range... Also scored eight points, on three-of-five shooting in a Tulane victory at Memphis... Scored seven points on three-of-four shooting in Tulane's win over Houston on January 5... Handed out an assist in 12 separate games... Scored five points on two-for-two shooting in the Green Wave's win over Houston in the Conference USA quarterfinals.

As a Freshman (2005-06): Staidum started six of the 27 games she appeared in... Averaged 4.6 points per game in 12.7 minutes per game... Scored a season-high 13 points in 37 minutes in Tulane's season opener against Howard, while grabbing six rebounds and chipping in three assists... Followed that performance with a 12-point outing at UTEP... Matched her career-high with 13 points at LSU (Dec. 20)... Started Jan. 21 at SE La. and responded with an 11-point, five-rebound effort... Connected on three-of-five shooting for seven points and seven rebounds in just 10 minutes at SMU (Mar. 3).

Prep: Selected to the Louisiana Class 5A All-State First Team during her junior and senior seasons after being named to the 4A All-State First Team as a sophomore... Named All-Houma Region MVP as a senior... Helped lead Ellender to the 2003 Louisiana State Championship and was named MVP of the state tournament... Voted team MVP each of her first three seasons and was selected as MVP of the district during her sophomore and junior seasons... A three-time All-River Parish selection... Played for coach Kenneth Dixon at Ellender.

Personal: Full name is Sasha La'Choy Staidum... Born June 17, 1987 in Houma, La.... Daughter of Carlton and Sherry Staidum... The oldest of four children with two younger brothers and one younger sister... Attended the same high school as current Tulane teammate D'Aundra Henry... Plans to major in exercise science with aspirations of becoming a physical therapist.
