A Coach's Note to Future Green Wave All-America Players The Tulane University women's tennis program is once again returning to the court in the fall of 2008. This is a very exciting time for all who are, and will be, involved in this adventure. To say that I am excited to be a part of the Tulane University athletic family is truly an understatement. For many years I kept up with this prestigious program and watched the Green Wave teams evolve into a perennial conference champion and national powerhouse, which is an incredible feat in the world of tennis mainly because usually the larger schools dominate in this field. Q&A with Tulane Head Women's Tennis Coach Terri Sisk With the Green Wave women's tennis team slated to return to action for the 2008-09 academic year, Tulane University named Terri Sisk as the program's new head coach on July 11, 2007. Sisk came to Tulane after serving the last five seasons as the head coach of the women's tennis team at Samford University in Birmingham, Ala. She inherits a program that won four Conference USA titles from 2001-05 and advanced to the NCAA Tournament six times from 1997-2005 before being suspended in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in Fall 2005. Terri Sisk Named Head Women's Tennis Coach At Tulane With the Green Wave women's tennis team slated to return to action for the 2008-09 academic year, Tulane University Director of Athletics Rick Dickson announced Terri Lynn Sisk as the program's new head coach. |
