As a Freshman (2006 at Montana):
Stephanie Stromath attended the University of Montana as a freshman before transferring to Tulane... Recruited member of the volleyball team but did not appear in any matches. The Grizzlies granted her a release from her scholarship to join the Green Wave for the spring semester of 2007, where she participated in spring ball and helped the Wave post a 9-4 record and two tournament championships... She will have four years of eligibility remaining.
"We're happy to add Stephanie Stromath to our roster," head coach Liz Kritza said announcing her transfer. "She gives us another 6-1 player at the net and we'll look for her blocking ability to help our defensive effort up front."
"By joining us in the spring, she has a head start on learning our system. With playing time in our successful spring season, she gained experience playing with her new teammates and we could see improvement in her technique in the valuable off-season time she spent with our coaching staff."
