Three Green Wave Sports in Action on Saturday with the Green Wave

NEW ORLEANS - The Tulane volleyball team will play host to four teams Saturday in their spring tournament at the Reilly Center. The showcase match will be Tulane versus Alabama at 4 p.m., between the Tulane football team's spring game at 1:30 p.m. and the baseball team's game against Southern Miss at 6 p.m.

Two courts will be used in the Reilly Center, as the tournament tips off at 10 a.m. Tulane will take on New Orleans on court one, with Southern Miss meeting Southeastern Louisiana on court two.

At 11:15, Tulane and Southern Miss will square off while Alabama faces Southeastern Louisiana. SLU takes on UNO at 12:30, while Alabama and Southern Miss meet on court two.

UNO takes on Southern Miss at 2 p.m., followed by Tulane and Alabama at 4 p.m.

The Green Wave volleyball team is fresh off last week's win over 2007 Final Four team, USC, at the Texas Tornado's College Spring Tournament.

Tulane went 28-6 last year and finished 30th in voting in the final AVCA Coaches poll, and return all 13 players from last season's team including three AVCA All-America Honorable Mention selections and five All Conference USA picks.
